THE CLYDE
Just realised I hadn't posted anything for 22 July. Strange, as it was a spectacular day on the water and I had 66 images in the can, some of which were not too bad. I opted for this one because it captured for me the romance of the Firth and the clarity even in the heat haze - go large to see the sunlight glistening on the gritty granite slabs in Glen Sannox from the wee ferry to Kilcreggan, with the distant gannets wheeling and diving and the red sailed dinghies tacking up to the Tail of the Bank.
