Notes from a Small Island

I have just finished re-reading Notes from a Small Island and are about to start a re-read The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid.

This is for his travel books, although he as written others. Some of which may feature here at some point, this one already as.

For those who haven't read Notes' its about Bryson's trip around the UK in the mid 1990's by (mainly) public transport. It still made me chuckle when he describes my home city and county, which (I believe) he got spot on. And it makes you realise on how much easier travel is with the use of the internet!
