Voodoo tour of New Orleans and a swamp

Here's our first alligator. We saw three in total (the other two were bigger than this, I swear), and a few snakes.

This morning we woke to find that our friends had baked a peach tart and scrambled eggs for breakfast (yesssssss!!!).

They dropped us off in the French quarter where we tried our first beignets and began a five hour walking tour. The theme was voodoo. It was brilliant.

After this we drove out to the swamp and took this picture.
