Directions

My friend Heather was making this mosaic in my 'Sheddio' where we spent many happy hours together breaking up old china and glass and making them into something new... She died on Sunday of cancer and I feel a big loss in my life. The recent pieces she was making were an exit sign (which she abandoned) a pointing hand , and this outward moving colour piece. Both had this directional feel to them and I know she was thinking of the end of her life. This one, colour wise is typical of her favourite colours and I'm going to (try) to finish it for her, so that her family can have it.
