Glacial Gifts

This beach is challenging to walk on, especially in sandals, but I like it because every rock is different. They come in all colors, shapes and sizes. Some have rings for making wishes; others are perfect for skipping. Warmed by the sun, some just feel good when you hold them in your hand. Today I learned a little about their glacial origins...these types of rocks and stones are only found in the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire. Pretty cool!
