Verbena Bonarienses

This is my entry for Let's See Your Best Shot's weekly challenge which is Back View of a Flower.

Another spectacular day, weather-wise. Anna and I went to Excelsior to walk along the lake and watch the boats. And have an ice cream cone, of course.

Joyce and her daughter Anna were over tonight. Anna is leaving early tomorrow morning for a two-year teaching commitment in China. How exciting for her, but sad for Joyce. Thankfully communication is easier than it would have been 10-15 years ago.
