Art is Subjective

The Festival Fringe and the rain have come to town-albeit the tip of the Fringe and a fine smirr of rain.

We decided on a Summerhall scone this morning and were greeted by what looked like a demolition site.
Wrong, it is an art installation seemingly exuding from the front of the building which used to house the old Dick Veterinary College, but which is now home to a multitude of Fringe disciplines from visual arts to music, film and theatre.

The installation is the work of a Mexican artist, Antonio O'Connell, who creates extensions and intrusions into buildings using recycled materials and items from a building's past.

I wonder who owned the yellow chair.
