Chilling in the Westerpark

A slightly less hectic day today. We went back to Lombardos for some lunch with Mads and Sally, then we walked them up to the Anne Frank House and we headed on to the Westerpark. There's an old gas factory there called Wester Gas Fabriek, and there's a coffee roaster and cafe there called Espressofabriek which came highly recommended by the guys at Brewlab. I was desperate for really good coffee rather than just reasonable stuff, which we've been getting at Bagels and Beans, so we hung out for quite a while there in the Sun.

The park itself was pretty sinmilar to the Vondelpark, but not quite as busy. It was just full of people enjoying the sun and quite a nice place to hang out away from the manic busyness of central Amsterdam.

The tip was bang on too, if you're in Amsterdam and want really good coffee give espressofabriek a try.
