Bales near Angmering

I went on a long rectangular walk today beginning at Patching. This walk was on the bottom of the dip slope of the South Downs and onto the start of the Coastal Plain. The land is all owned by the Duke Of Norfolk and forms part of the Angmering Park Estate. The woods are mixed with some spruce or fir plantation and native coppice. The rest of the fields have or had cereals in them. Some of the woods have attrractive names. The woodland in the background is called The Lions while further up is Kitpease Copse. Round bales always make for a nice picture I always think and there were plenty of them about at the moment.
