speed jumping

Another athletics session this morning but no finals.
We had heats of men's 200m (over 60 runners), and 400m hurdles, women's 800m and qualifiers for women's long jump and high jump (including one of daughter's ex-pupils (she taught her PE!) who I now know won the silver), men's discuss and also the heptathlon long jump.
Not the best pic but I like the action - not sure who it is.
On opposite side of the stadium above the TV cameras - higher up so harder for pics but good view of finish line and comfier seats.
In the afternoon we had a wander round Glasgow and Glasgow Green, (saw some gymnastics on the big screen) where there was a great atmosphere.
