Mr & Mrs Redheaded Woodpecker

It rained all morning and early afternoon. We then had a dry spell but there are grey clouds again this evening so more rain may come tonight. I do know the weekend is to be filled with rain. July was the wettest on record. :( It wasn't the number of days but the amount that would fall and almost drown us!

I went grocery shopping this morning to get what I needed and then proceeded to make a bunch of nut snack bags for a friend that is type 1 diabetic. I then baked a pig pickin' cake for a farewell potluck we are going to this evening for friends that are leaving for Colorado tomorrow. We sure are going to miss having this family here as part of our community.
