High But Not Dry

Raining this afternoon so I opted for topping up the bird feeders, standing undercover inside, with the patio doors flung wide open in abandon!

With family dropping in en route to Cornwall we all had a very convivial breakfast. I can also class this as a 'Blip meet' too as fionawalton37 took up blipping a few months ago! Being extremely lucky with the weather, we were able to sit outside in the Breeze House in the garden, munch on croissants and catch up on family news. Lovely to see them all.

This little soggy goldfinch was waiting it's turn on the purple Berberis to dive onto the bird table and get some food. Fat chance with the greedy starlings fighting over every last crumb! It did however manage to get onto the feeder for some seeds in the end.
