Cragside in the rain

We left this remarkable house until the rainy day, and how it poured! Ironic given that this place is powered by hydro-electricity. The National Trust have just installed an Archimedes Screw to power the generator.

Sadly as I was packing up the tripod slipped on the wet and the camera hit the deck. Back to the repair shop. Sigh...
