Playground adventures
Today was one if those days were it started off with no plans and ended up being a busy and fabulous day.
We took a trip in to town with cam being my great little helper on the condition if he behaved he was allowed to go to the sweetie shop. He was more then happy to oblige and mummy got all her jobs done quickly and with no complaints. Bribery is definitely the way with toddlers!
After lunch we were invited to yani's house to visit the newly refurbished playground in Henley. The playground is pretty cool with a Hans Christian Anderson theme but now caterers for older children not just little ones. It was the busiest park mummy has ever seen. Maybe it was because it was newly opened but my goodness there were children everywhere and ones who didn't think twice about squishing the boys. Ollie went on the little slide a few time but it was too busy for mummy not to have a constant eye on cam. We decided to cut our loses and go for ice cream. Cam had his first ever ice cream cone and ate loads whilst making a truly comical mess. Ollie was definitely a fan of his chocolate scoop although he didn't have much.
Afterwards Yani took us to his favourite ride in the park. It was a small carousel with buses, tractors and cars for the children to ride. Yani went for the tractor whilst cam chose to drive the green bus. He was not sure at first but he loved it in the end and chatted about his trip to the park on the whole car journey home.
The unplanned days always turn out to be the best.
