Another Mad Day!

Wedding today! ..and it really was a lovely one. Just 30 people, really lovely, relaxed and fun couple and a delightfully non-standard format to the day.. which right up our street!

We actually got to do the portraits of the bride and groom BEFORE the wedding ceremony which was just bliss. Got to spend a whole hour with them pre-ceremony having lots of fun and taking photos of them all around their fantastically grand hotel.

The day could have actually all gone very Pete Tong (..do people still use that phrase, or am I showing my age?) ..at least from a photography point of view. The wedding was in the centre of Windsor and it took us AN HOUR.. yes A WHOLE HOUR to find somewhere in Windsor to park the car… AN HOUR! Thank the Lord in Heaven that we left the house super-early this morning. As it was, we finally managed to find a space miles from the venue and nearly killed ourselves carting our kit up Windsor High Street to the venue. Fell through the doors of the hotel, sweaty and wheezing, about 10 mins before we were due to kick-off.

Wedding photography is not an occupation for the easily stressed!
