A little progress

I added a meadow seed mix today too which means I should have seedlings in a week. The flowers won't appear til next spring but it will be exciting anyway. I love meadow planting and haven't done it before so I've got my fingers crossed.

Had a lovely afternoon with a friend and her three girls at Hilliers- pottery painting, magic show, a bear hunt and tea and cake. I don't know how she does it with three all younger than number two.

Holiday still not booked but I've enjoyed the beautiful weather through July. I don't feel like I've missed out really. But it will be nice if we manage to go somewhere. Planning to visit the folks soon and bring step grandson back for airbourne.

Rain predicted for tomorrow but that's okay- it'll help the seeds.
