Drove to historic house at Burton Constable - closed on a Friday.
Church in Headon - closed due to lack of vicar.
Visited Spurn Point - no dogs allowed so Mollie left in car for short while but no time to walk to the point.
Tea shop - closed.
Phoned to book Lanterner for supper - fully booked.
Phoned Talbot Hotel - fully booked.
Drove to Lisset to see the war memorial - very impressive! Even more dramatic in massive thunderstorm.
Found some supper at Supattra the Thai restaurant in Bridlington- delicious.
Success at last.
