Young Moorhen chick

Not the prettiest of creatures. But a hardy survivor among the Duck population @ the Moat.
This is the lone survivor from the third batch of young this season.Only one has survived from each of the batches!But we do have almost twice as many as the beginning of the year.
Gulls are the worse culprits!
