Hibiscus...

This is yet another flower from the Hibiscus plant my sister gave me about 4 years ago...

I am not green fingered, but this plant has been extremely successful - largely I believe because I ignored all the advice that said it was suitable for gardens and would grow in any conditions. I have seen many hibiscus plants on foreign holidays, but have never seen a hibiscus plant flourishing in the west of Scotland. It has, however, been extremely successful in our kitchen.

I love this plant... partly because it has been a success story, (and most of my plants are doomed from the start) and partly because it reminds me of sunny places.
