One day it will flower...?

David Younger, of the Younger Botanic Garden family, gave this unusual rhododendron to my wife about a decade ago and told her it would flower in "about ten years". It has grown and grown and grown (like most rhodies it flourishes in the damp peatyness of Argyll ) and is now the size of a small tree. But no flowers as yet - perhaps this year???
