Pineapple Lily

Eucomis bicolor is native to South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland, where it is found up to 2,800 m above sea level. Moderately hardy here, it might not survive a deep freeze winter.

btw - It's not a Lily but gets it's common name from the tuft of leafy bracts atop the flower.
