sunlight captured in a waterfall

this was a tricky shot for me. i needed a speed slow enough to capture the motion of the sunlight, yet fast enough to keep the water from turning opaque, obscuring the plant life behind the falls. it was a lot of trial and error. as i stood knee deep in the rushing water trying to focus on minuscule particles of moving light, it occurred to me that perhaps indeed i had lost my mind.
