Watery
Definitely a watery day today. Sebastian and I went out to the Red barn for lunch and to meet up with friends. We had all been going to take a walk around the Farm Park afterwards and so I had semi-planned a new born lamb blip. However, the rain was just too heavy, everything was too slippery, and the animals were just too bedraggled so we decided to stay dry over another cuppa instead.
On the way home Sebastian and I decided we did have some energy to burn off so we went for a walk along the creek anyway. Then, seeing we were already pretty darned wet, we stopped and watched the local teenagers in their rugby match. They are really keen - hosing rain and they're still out there slipping and sliding and chasing a ball around. We didn't stay long - just long enough to see that we were well in the lead.
Of course that could be because the local lads are used to training and playing in the rain while the visiting city team may not have been. Mind you our lads were all muddy but the visiting team's uniform was still largely clean so it may be just that ours were prepared to get dirty and their's weren't.
