Wading

Out towards the coast is a wetland that drains straight into the sea and this is where I ended up this afternoon. I was fortunate to get there before the sun disappeared and the in coming weather front arrived bringing with it some rain and cooler temperatures.
There was quite a bit of activity with ducks and oyster catchers wading round in the shallows.
