hummocking ice
Today we went to the IJsselmeer (former known as Zuiderzee). A big lake which was sea before they put a big dike between the provence of Friesland and Noord-Holland. The IJsselmeer is a lake with a surface of 1100 km2. Needless to say the biggest one in the Netherlands.
Because there is thaw and wind the melting ice is hummocking. A beautiful sight
To bad the sun didn't do here job to get a more spectacular blip. The dark sky predict more snow to come.
Due to a misunderstanding it wasn't possible to rate yet. But it's ajusted now.
