UWS

Bright and early for some, we set off to the University of Western Sydney this morning. My son had an appointment to do the spoken component of his Spanish language exam for the HSC.

It was the first time I had been on the UWS campus, and it was a pleasant space, much smaller than the University of NSW and also the University of Hawai'i, the two campuses of which I have memories.

But Parramatta is a long way from where we live, along long, ugly roads. While the trip there was relatively fast, the trip back saw us in the Saturday sports/shopping traffic, and I was getting desperate to be out of the car and looking at more inspiring views.
