Today's main event is going out to eat at a local gite run by one of Tricia's Scrabble partners. A good evening with nearly everything we ate having been produced by them. Olives, lamb, chestnut flour, pate and eggs amongst others. The home-made cider was a particular highlight, produced using a huge and ancient press that the family had brought down from Normandy in their VW golf almost a piece at a time.
Tomorrow's highlight is a morning at the (relatively) local spa. Busy days....
