Waiting and hoping . . .

An anxious afternoon hoping the skies would clear and the wind would drop a bit for the J's beach bonfire this evening! As Ollie is getting older, he's 9 now, he does appreciate the comfort of the couch!

Luckily it was dry and the wind wasn't too bad and we had a super time. There were lots of folk there, the fire burned ferociously and there were delicious things to eat and drink. Unfortunately Mike was late finishing work so didn't get there, but he did give me a big bag of wood to take along!
