First Snowdrops

Every year about this time a bunch of snowdrops appear in the garden. We do nothing at all to nurture or maintain them throughout the year but are rewarded with these delightful small dainty flowers.
They maybe known by some other name and undoubtedly a botanical name would have been allocated to them.

Even in the heart of winter there is always something to appreciate in the garden.
