The final day

Sedbergh to Appleby. A gentler day on the whole - through fields criss crossed drystone walls and dotted with barns. More cow capers - managed to skirt around them. Made it to Appleby & signed the book and collected our certificates. The hotel very doggy friendly - a treat bag, a doggy menu etc!
Ben says there are three categories of adventure - the ones you enjoy at the time, ones you enjoy when you look back and ones you never enjoy. He rated this a 2 due to the heat. Great memories & a time of mother-son bonding! What shall we do next year?
