Villa Nicoletta...........

Villa Nicoletta in the early hours this morning shortly before the moon crested over the mountain behind the villa. The approaching moonlight is washing out all but the brightest stars, the Milky Way, which was visible from the horizon to the South, stretching directly over head off towards the Northern horizon, washed out about an hour ago. Within the hour the moon will be high enough to cast enough light so it's almost like daylight, despite the time of day. Here in Argaka there is very little light pollution, so taking long exposures of the Milky Way shouldnt be a problem, providing there's no moon about.

I could sit out all night looking at the sky, listening to a little music with the occasional drink.

Whats not to like.........??
