Capture the Rain

I wanted to capture the rain in a more delicate way than the minor flooding I photographed yesterday. The raindrops on the sign and dampness elsewhere show the rain hasn't stopped except for brief intervals. "The Moores" sign hung on a lamp post by the front walkway to my parents' home. It was there at least 40 years. After our mother died in 2003, my sister and I sold the house, and I got to keep the sign. The stand holding it is new, but the sign is a special remembrance of the place that was home from age 7 up.
