Jessica who?

A hell of a long day today with a drive up to Glasgow for Day 7 of the Commonwealth Games.

When we got the tickets it looked like a good session with the final 2 events of the heptathlon.
Great,we get to see Jessica Ennis in action...oh she's pregnant and won't be competing.
Oh well, at least there'll be Katarina Johnson-Thompson...bugger she's got a foot injury and pulled out the week before.

No idea what -or who- to expect in that case. But then step forward Jessica Taylor to claim a bronze medal!
To be honest, her Javelin throw wasn't the best and one of my shots from her first throw looks like she was trying to throw it vertically. But it didn't matter and she looked so thrilled as she came along high-5-ing the crowd on her lap of honour.

Great to see Greg Rutherford win gold -and the medal ceremony-, sample the Scots' Hampden roar as Eilish McColgan went in the steeplechase and see Kirani James in the 400m.
