MOSSY ROSE GALLS

We did some serious housework this morning to eradicate all traces of Ralph and Snoop Dog. The house seems so quiet without them! We went into town, briefly to go to the bank and library.

After lunch we went for a walk to the village nature reserve. One of the dog rose bushes had an infestation of these red mossy rose galls, they are the homes of the Cynipid gall wasp.
