The bells

I have always liked foxgloves. As children we were always told the myth "don't touch the foxgloves or you will have a heart attack"so we used to dare each other to touch the flowers, and then spent the night scared that we wouldn't wake up the next morning! I didn't know what digitalis was, or what it was used for until I was an adult.

At the garden centre recently I decided to treat myself. Standard foxgloves had apparently been on offer 2-for-1 the week before, and had sold out. They did however have these miniature "digitalis campanula" plants. I bought two, and although I'm not known for my gardening skills, they seem to be holding their own! I'm not normally a fan of yellow, but thought these were quite pretty.
