Backblip
First day of the holidays, and we decided to have a trip through to Glasgow to soak up some of the CWG atmosphere. Dropped off Breagha and picked up Elaine, my sister-in-law and we got the bus into the city centre, then walked to the Pacific Quay where there is entertainment set up for the duration of the Games. The weather was hot and sunny, just how I like it for wandering.

George Square, Merchant City, in fact everywhere we went was buzzing - never seen Glasgow so busy with people sitting out in the streets in the sunshine, eating and drinking and listening to music. Fab day out.
