What a lovely afternoon my son Daniel and I had at the VA, Summer Exhibition. We didn't actually realise how large the exhibition was going to be and were enjoying ourselves so much admiring the wonderful art in the first few rooms that time went by far too quickly! Suddenly it was 6.00 p.m. and we still had two rooms to look in and were very reluctant to leave, as the doors were being shut behind us!

I'd thoroughly recommend a visit to the Summer Exhibition before it closes on 17th August...and thank you very much to Lazooligirl for recommending a visit there!
