Language exam

I hate this piece of work now. It is so hard to learn something, make it seem like you haven't learnt it and then be prepared to answer questions on it in another language using complicated vocabulary and phrases.

I don't see why we don't have two language exams, one formal one and one that sees whether or not you can hold a conversation on a random topic. I mean, anyone can learn a piece of work, but not many people I know at university could actually hold a conversation in French for more than two minutes. Sad but true.
