The first signs of life after the snow....
Snowdrops peeping through in our garden. Two visitors this weekend have commented on the fact that they're the first ones they've seen this year.
We didn't plant them. They've been here since before we were, and that's 12 years and more now.
In Fife they're preparing for the Snowdrop Festival at Cambo Estate, and this year there will be evening expeditions through the woods to see the snowdrops by electric lights - we may go when we're at Sandcastle Cottage soon. The Jerdan Gallery in Crail will have an exhibition on too, and I'd like to see that as it's by a favourite artist of mine, a man who paints large seascapes which remind me of the horizon up there.
The trip out to the garden in the dark was the first time I'd been outside today. Too many chores, and of course there was a tennis match to watch this morning. Andy Murray bringing tennis to us non-fans. He was amazing. First time I'd seen Federer play - what power. See, really not a tennis fan.
