Family Tradition

It's not so much the cleaning that is a family tradition, but pretending to clean. In my family, we have pictures of all of us as babies either sweeping, mopping, and in this case, "swiffering". Unfortunately, this carried over into my teenage years, where I would provide the illusion of cleanliness by spraying some Lysol in the air before my mom came home...and into my adulthood when I just give the entire house a once-over by dumping all misplaced, random objects into the bedroom. (Sigh)...how I long for the days when this pretend cleaning was treasured.
