Chaldon Church

Went walking in the positively named Happy Valley near Coulsdon today. Chaldon Church is nearby, with its fabulous mural painted by a travelling artist monk in the 12th century.

Among other things it depicts angels, demons, dancing girls, and a dishonest milkman.
