The Blip That Wasn't

I had a big huge breakfast with Col this morning before we headed in to Edinburgh to do a bit of street photography.

We chose the wrong day.

God was it wet!

After trying - and failing - to get performers and others we headed to the museum as Col had never been there.
He was more than a little impressed and we spent quite a time shooting the people and the building.

It was just about dry when we left and headed back to the High Street.
It was rather damp again by the time we got there.
So we went for lunch.
It did dry up for a few minutes and some street performers came out to play.
One of them even brought her own backdrop.
Another one had done her make-up.
I was delighted to find the superb Tom Ward is back in town, but we had to head off for the train after just a couple of tunes.
Again the weather closed in.

In the evening SWMBO, Col, Chicken Lady and I headed off to the golf club for dinner and a good laugh.
There were only four others in.
I think the weather may have something to do with it.
