Variation on a theme...........friendship

Blipping cold in the blipping icy wind out blipping early for dawn today!
Well worth it to be back home by 7 am and the Blip in the bag for the day.

Jasper came along for sentinel duty and company as always and he was very well behaved....those beautiful black swans rated barely more than a raised eyebrow from him.

Middle son has had his best mate over for the weekend.
They are wonderful together.
Two peas in a pod.
They have a quiet companionship that defies description. They first clicked when we all lived in Hong Kong and their lovely friendship has survived and even possibly flourished in the years of separation between then and our homecoming.
Weeks , months and years have passed without them spending time together and yet when they are together you would never guess. I don't know what it is that makes their friendship special or enduring but I celebrate that magical and undefinable quality.
I know in my heart that this is a friendship they will have for life....I just hope that, as 14 year old boys, they can cherish how incredible special and blessed they are to have this bond.
