Carn Liath

Carn Liath is an iron-age Broch, a defensive dwelling, which sits on the shores of the Moray Firth near Golspie.

Brochs are peculiarly Scottish, but didn't feature in the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony!

I've often wondered whether anyone has rennovated a broch to live in nowadays, I think it could be quite comfortable, and they all seem to have fabulous views.
