McKENZIES DOG

This statue was erected in memory of the shepherds and their dogs who worked in the McKenzie Country. I went to Tekapo today as felt I needed to go to the lake, and it was a beautiful day up there, blue sky and fresh but not bitterly cold.
I was amazed how little snow there was on the surrounding hills, how low the lake is and with no snow it is not going to fill very much over the summer months.
Feel better now I have visited Tony.
