Racing

It was a perfect day for sailing today and for having a BBQ, friends of mine look after a holiday house just outside Schull so we celebrated her birthday today in their clients garden which has a fabulous location overlooking the Bay. Perfect to soak up the sun, enjoy lovely food and watch the Saturday afternoon race sail past.
In to Skibbereen to catch a couple of hours of the poetry marathon, 24 hours of non stop poetry and song, they were seven and a half hours in when we got there and going strong, listened to some very good poems!
Finally this evening I had a ticket to see Mick Flannery, he was playing the final concert for the Arts Festival, it was very enjoyable.
