Kids got to do splat painting again today while we use the stolen hour to do some quick shopping.

The highlight of the day, however, was attending Hong Kong Children's Symphony Orchestra with the kids at UBC Chan Centre. OO was mesmerized by the opening performance, but her excitement soon waned. By the third piece she was squirming in her seat, and insisted she was ready to go home. Meanwhile, little A sat on my lap contentedly throughout the whole performance.

We somehow managed to last until the second last piece, which was impressive considering that this is the kids' first time at a proper classical concert.

I wish we could stay, because these young people are simply talented and a pure joy to watch.
