Wild flowers

Decided to be more positive and went on a long cycle ride to take in the good weather and the scenery. Cycled for couple of hours then had nice cake and mug of tea in a nice little cafe that opens at weekends. Yum !

Took some nice photos of where the rivers Humber and Trent meet at Alkborough Flats - well worth a visit if you are interested in birds. Also an ancient maze here called Julians bower.

On the way back popped into local country park where my daughter C works weekends and saw all these wild flowers near the entrance and snapped them as well.

Liked this photo the best but took many nice ones today.

Cycling back home was far more challenging however as it's all into to wind! Think I may just take it easy for rest of day as I'm absolutely shattered now!
