The Slaughters

We visited Lower Slaughter today (it means muddy place) for morning coffee. It's a quintessential Cotswoldian village. Parking is a challenge, so we got there early, secured our spot and then had a mosey around.
There is an old Mill with a really interesting gift shop, organic ice cream and a cafe overlooking a pond. We had coffee and cake there and will definitely be back. The photo is of Longshadow as we wandered through the village.
