Back in Scotland ...
... well we almost could be with the heather and the low cloud. The purple of the heather is stunning here at the moment. I imagine a month to go yet up north although increasingly looking at the weather charts, the UK is doing better than us currently.
Today we were given about thirty raspberry canes and so had to spend a fair chunk of the day digging for the first time the area of our new raspberry patch. Amazing how many roots a small square of soil can hold. Done now and we now await next season's bumper crop of raspberries with interest.
